My 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites

You know I love a good sale and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of my favorite sales of the year! Most of the time when stores have big sales they’re either getting rid of last season’s leftovers, or it’s some standard 15% off holiday sale. Whoop-di-doo… Plus, I rarely purchase items at full price anymore because everything eventually goes on sale anyways. THE NORDSTROM SALE IS DIFFERENT! This is truly the best department store sale of the year. Why? Because Nordstrom brings out a ton of (mostly) BRAND NEW, never before seen items on sale. These are items that aren’t even available at Nordstrom yet- the new Fall arrivals- think sweaters, coats, boots, and of course some new exciting beauty launches. In this post, I’ll cover everything you need to know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and share my top picks.

When is the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? 

The one thing I don’t love about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is how they rank their credit card holders by tiers- how much you spend determines when you can shop/ what types of perks you get. This year, early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts July 6. If you are looking for a comfortable heel, this one from Dolce Vita is it! I have this same style with the braided strap and I really love the knot detail on the new style. It looks a little less bulky but the thick straps still look comfortable.

The leather-looking pant trend is here to stay this year and I’m so glad there are some amazing looking ones in the sale! I tried a few brands over the year and none of them looked quite right on me so I’m excited to try all that Nordstrom has to offer. These tan ones are GORGEOUS! I also love these black ones!

Since moving to Nashville I’ve found that for at least 3 months of the year I basically only wear combat boots. I need to replace mine and found some amazing options on sale! I also love the tan combat boot trend!

I learned the hard way at CMA Fest that most events don’t allow most bags so this coach crossbody is the perfect solution! It’s chic and small enough- just what I need.

My husband always jokes that I’ve never met a beige sweater I didn’t like and he’s not wrong. The collared v-neck and cardigan are my top two favorites from the sale but I’m also planning to purchase this one because I tend to wear the same oversized sweater every day once it gets cold and I need some new ones for this year.

The Nordstrom sale has some great deals on beauty this year! I’ve been dying to try the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Wand and love that it comes with one of my all-time favorite blushes– it’s the perfect subtle pop of color! The Sunday Riley Duo is a steal! Good Genes is a cult classic for a reason and CEO is one of my favorite Vitamin C serums on the market. This is also a great time to stock up on Paula’s Choice BHA liquid exfoliant! The Bobbi Brown lip tints are so good! They give you color without the hassle of lipstick. And of course, the jumbo SuperGoop SPF & touch-up powder (you can also use this on your scalp– it absorbs oil like a dry shampoo & protects your skin). If you’re looking for skincare for your man, Steve LOVES Kiehl’s Facial Fuel– it smells manly and is lightweight.

The Nordstrom Sale is THE time to buy your boots for fall/ winter! I’m very happy with the assortment this year- combat boots, cowboy/ western, and some new variations of the classic bootie. AllSaints KILLED it! I love so many of their boots and they come in a ton of colors! I have the Dolce Vita cowboy boots in two colors- they are VERY comfortable and I highly recommend them if you want to get in on this trend!

When I buy jackets I always lean towards more classic styles like this tan one- it’s pricey but so beautiful. The sherpa jacket trend is here to stay this year and I love the new variations that came out this year. Also, we all need a classic leather jacket in black & brown, right? I’m very picky with leather, especially faux and I’ve found that the Blank NYC leather tends to look the most real. I’m glad tribal jackets are in again- this one jacket from Pendleton is definitely a jacket you’ll have forever! And A biker jean jacket? This jacket is so cool! It would look great with these pants & boots!

The NSale is the best time to get designer pants at a major discount so if you’ve been waiting for a good deal, now is the time! I’ve ALWAYS loved light wash denim and I’m so impressed with the variety at the Nordstrom Sale this year! I’m also impressed with the variety of jean styles- they have skinny, straight leg, boot, wide… Such a great selection! As I mentioned above, the leather-style pant trend is back and I’m here for it! I can’t wait to try all of them on!

I’m loving the cardigan and loose sweater trend. They’re really how I get through the fall and winter in Nashville. The turtleneck tanks are also great to wear under jackets, or alone! I don’t like having a lot of material squeezed underneath jackets so this is the perfect way to layer, in my opinion.

Nordstrom always has the best slippers, cute pajama sets, cozy blankets, and candles! I like how these Ugg slippers have a little platform. This Barefoot Dreams blanket is so unique- I’ve never seen this pattern before! I can’t wait to refresh my pajamas this year.
