Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask Review
It’s not often that I try a product and am instantly WOWED but that’s exactly what happened with the Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask. This is truly a miracle in a bottle for my skin and I know anyone that tries it would agree. This is the first product I’ve ever tried from Malin + Goetz and it definitely won’t be my last!
What makes the Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask so special?
This five-minute treatment is quick and super effective. The “detox” part of the mask is because it deeply cleanses the skin of dirt & oil without stripping it.
The mask has amino acids and almond extract that gently balance and soothe your skin. And Vitamins C and E nourish and brighten. It’s safe for all skin types – I am combo/ acne prone and clearly love it – but Malin + Goetz say it’s especially great for dry and dehydrated skin because it’s so hydrating!
The mask foams up like shaving cream and, fun fact, Matthew, one of the owners of Malin + Goetz actually uses it as one because it helps to cleanse pores and soften hair for a smooth, hydrating shave! Although, I doubt I’ll ever use a $48 mask to shave LOL. Andrew loves to use this mask after flying for an instant boost of moisture for his dry, dehydrated skin.
Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask key ingredients:
+ squalane, almond oil + sodium pca moisturize.
+ coconut-based surfactants thoroughly cleanse skin.
+ green tea + vitamin e provide antioxidant benefit.
+ vitamin c smooths + brightens.
How to use it?
Since it foams up you have to apply it quickly. I always put 3 pumps on my hand and rub it on FAST all over my face. You want a thick layer.
It foams up and can tickle but it’s not bad. Leave it on for five- minutes or until the foam dissipates then you remove with a cloth- I love the Face Halo for removing masks- they’re super effective and fast.
You can use this in place of your cleanser once or twice a week- I like to use it in the morning because it makes my skin look so healthy!
